Step 2: Mail Your Transcripts
Who needs to provide transcripts?
- If you plan to earn a certificate, an Associate Degree, transfer, learn job skills, improve basic skills, or if you are undecided, you must supply your previous high school and/or college transcripts. Request one copy of your high school transcript and one copy of your transcripts from any other college you have attended. Please have your official transcripts mailed to the MJC Records Office.
- Courses you completed at other colleges may be used to satisfy MJC prerequisites. In order to have courses from other colleges evaluated before you register, your transcripts must be received in the MJC Records Office at least six weeks before you are scheduled to register.
- If you completed an MJC course prior to 1985 and you plan to use that course as a prerequisite, please notify the Records Office at 575-6491 so that your Academic Records can be updated.
