The Modesto Junior College Political Science Department is hosting two information sessions this month for MJC students who would like a political internship for the Spring 2012 semester. The information sessions will be held Wednesday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m.-3:20 p.m. in Founders Hall 215 and on Wednesday, November 30 at 4:40 p.m. -5:30 p.m. in Founders Hall 215. Interested students only need to attend one of these sessions. Internship opportunities available in government offices, public interest law organizations, and other political non-profit organizations will be discussed. Students will be informed about how they may receive three units of course credit for completing a semester-long internship, as well as the application process to secure an internship. All of the internships are in Stanislaus County.
