The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently sent a film crew to interview Serena Robertson, Modesto Junior College Agriculture and Environmental Science STEM Scholarship student. Robertson and MJC student, Rachel Torres, attended the annual NSF Principal Investigator (P.I.) Conference in Washington D.C. last fall along with MJC Dean of Agriculture and Environmental Science, Mark Anglin, and P.I. Don Borges. The two young women presented the Agriculture Education grant at a poster session for Investigators from around the country.
Robertson was selected for a follow-up film interview for the NSF Advanced Technological Education (ATE) program. The sketch can be viewed here on youtube. The piece will be presented this fall at the NSF PI Conference and posted on the national ATE website.
