Modesto Junior College will host the Modesto 6 on 6 Soccer Tournament on Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 at the MJC West Campus Soccer Field on Blue Gum Ave. The team registration fee for this two-day, men’s open tournament is $300 with early registration before July 26 at $240. The final registration deadline is July 28. The minimum age for participation is 18 during this current calendar year and participants are guaranteed three games.

There will be a limited number of teams in the tournament and matches will feature 12 player rosters (6 vs. 6) with half size fields, full size goals and 20 minute halves. Tournament rules include no offsides, all free kicks being direct, no throw-ins, and free substitutions. A tri-tip and linguini barbeque will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $5, with proceeds from both the barbeque and the tournament benefitting the MJC Men’s Soccer Team.
