Modesto Junior College will be offering a 9th Annual Summer Basketball Camp for Boys and Girls that will take place in four Monday through Friday sessions in June. Camp sessions are being offered for students entering grades 1 – 12, including two sessions for grades 5– 8.

The first session will be held June 21– 25, 8 to 10 a.m. for youth entering grades 1– 4 and eight foot baskets are available for younger players in this session. The second session will be held June 21-25, 10 a.m. to noon for youth entering grades 5– 8, with another session for this age group held June 28 – July 2, 8 to 10 a.m. The last session will be held June 28 – July 2, 10 a.m. to noon for youth entering grades 9–12.

The basketball camp is conducted by MJC coaches Paul Brogan and Dennis Seeley, who will be assisted by MJC men’s and women’s basketball players. All four camp sessions will be held at Modesto Christian High School Gymnasium this year, due to the closure of MJC’s gym for replacement of the heating and cooling system.

The registration fee is $100 for an individual student, with discounted family prices available: $175 for two registrants, $250 for three and $325 for four campers. All participants receive a T-shirt and two game passes that can be used for entrance to any of MJC’s regular home basketball games.
