Free Entertainment and Media Arts Fair Offered
Are you looking for a career in theatre, television, film, radio, music or event planning? You can get a foot in the door with these industries at Modesto Junior College's "Entertainment and Media Arts Fair" on Wednesday, April 9, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the East Campus Quad, located at 435 College Avenue. This free event is open to the public and is an opportunity for anyone interested in a job, internship or volunteer role in entertainment or media arts. Representatives will be on hand from a broad range of locally based performing groups, television studios, radio stations, recording studios, and entertainment and event venues.

Vendors at the Entertainment and Media Arts Fair will include: Townsend Opera Players, Realta Oscuro Films, TNT Productions, KOVR TV - Channel 31/CBS 13, Denair Gaslight Theater, Clear Channel, Ruby Moon Studios, Modesto Sound, Modesto Film Society, KAMB Celebration Radio, Turlock Community Theatre, Gallo Center for the Arts, Westside Theater, Rio Arts, Prospect Theater, Plankwalker Studios, Pirates Radio, California Ballroom Dance Company, Off-Balance Dance Company, Playhouse Merced, The State Theater, Network Productions, Patterson Repertory Theater, The Stanislaus Pride Center and the catering division of O'Brien's Market.
