Closure of parking Lots 108 & 109 (see map) on East - Parking lots 108 & 109 behind the Electronics & Journalism Buildings on East Campus will be closed beginning the week of April 5th to accommodate construction of the "Pirates" Village." See Pirates' Village map(pdf). This area of modular classrooms will be used during the 2010-2011 academic year while Founders hall is undergoing renovation.
Construction of the new Student Services Building will get underway in May! Watch for the fence to go up and dirt movers to arrive in mid-May at the construction site - located at the corner of College and Coldwell Avenues on East Campus! The project will take about 18 months to complete.
Campus and community are invited to a Science Community Center on Wednesday, May 5 at 10 a.m. at the construction site just west of Sierra Hall. Join us for a brief program and refreshments to celebrate the start of this new project on West Campus!
Shuttle Bus Stops: Due to construction on West Campus, the Sierra Hall bus stop has been temporary suspended. We do not know when we will be using it again. At the present time, the ONLY bus stop on West Campus is at Yosemite Hall. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.
