The mission of the MJC Research and Planning Office is to advance, facilitate, and measure institutional, department/ program, and student outcomes planning and assessment by providing guidance and needed information to help inform decision making throughout the college community.

Goals

• Develop Procedures for Collecting, Analyzing, and Reporting Data
• Produce and Disseminate Reports Which Support Planning and Assessment for the Planning and Budget Committee, Accreditation/Institutional Effectiveness Committee, Matriculation Work Group, Student Equity Work Group, College Council, and Accreditation Reports
• Work with Faculty, Staff, and Students to assist with data; survey design and creation; and analyses for the college community, program, division, department, classroom research, and grant proposals/evaluations reporting
