Description: This ongoing group handles a variety of topics related to academic issue. Their tasks vary from semester to semester. In Spring of 2010 they have been charged with creating a model shared governance document addressing scheduling, for the use of faculty in their divisions.

Description: This is one of the main governance committees on campus. It is in charge of accreditation issues, program review, student learning outcomes, and the yearly college self-review. See their web page for more information.
Meetings: 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, in the Morris Building, Conference Room A

"Task Force" - A task force is a short-term committee, with a specific charge that can be completed, after which the task force would disband.
"Work Group" - A work group is a long-term committee, with a charge that has no clear end, and is expected to continue work for the foreseeable future.
