1. You must first have a PiratesNet User ID. To get your PiratesNet User ID go to https://piratesnet.yosemite.edu
   
2. Launch your web browser application, i.e. Explorer 7.0; Firefox 2.0; Safari and go to www.mjc.edu
   
3. Click on the Login to Online Courses link
   
4. When you've reached the login page, be sure to use the Check Browser link to make sure you're computer's ready to work correctly with the online system.
   
5. Enter your User ID* (this is your PiratesNet User ID) eg. w000001
   
6. Enter your Password. Your default password is your date of birth (MMDDYY, no separators). If you're logging-in for the first time, you will be required to change your password from your six-digit DOB. Take note of your new password and be sure to enter your "secret question" along with an outside email address in case you forget your new password.
   
7. You must login to your online course within 7 days of the start date or risk being dropped from the course.
