What is the Help Desk for Online Students?

Who we help: Students currently enrolled in online, hybrid or enhanced courses on Blackboard/WebCT, a web-based course management system.

For assistance logging in to PiratesNet for course registration, contact the Student Help Desk at (209) 575-7900. The registration Help Line is (209) 575-6853.

What kind of help we offer: The MJC online help desk makes every every attempt to solve problems students may have accessing Blackboard/WebCT at the time the student calls; if we can't, we will make every effort to resolve it within one working day. See the hours of operation below.

Our Hours of Operation

Fall 2009 Blackboard Help Desk Hours

Regular Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed 12:00 pm to 1:00 p.m.) 

Extended Hours will be available from August 29 through September 10. See the schedule below for days and hours. The Online Help Desk will be closed on the following days:

September 7  due to the Labor Day Holiday

November 11 for the Veteran's Day Holiday

November 26th and 27th for Thanksgiving

 

Saturday August 29 & Sunday August 30,  - 10 am to 1 pm
Monday August 31 through Friday September 4, and Tuesday September 8-Thursday September 10 - 5:30 to 7 pm
Saturday September 5 & Sunday September 6 - 10 am to 1 pm.
