Important upcoming dates and events:

Cash for College Workshop

The MJC Financial Aid Office will be holding a Cash for College Workshop on February 21, 2012 in Sierra Hall at 6:00 p.m.  We will be reviewing the FAFSA application, sharing information about Higher One and the My YCCD card and answering questions you may have about the Financial Aid process. 

Win a Scholarship:  High school seniors who attend the Cash for College workshop, complete an exit survey, and submit the FAFSA and verified Cal Grant GPA by the March 2nd deadline, qualify for their chance to receive a $1000 scholarship.

Following the workshop presentation, financial aid staff will be available to assist students in completing their FAFSA. If you are interested in one-on-one assistance, please bring the following information:

  • Parent and/or Student 2011 Taxes & W2's
  • Other Financial Documents (i.e. investments, checking/savings balances, etc.)  
  • Documentation of untaxed income for 2011
