IT Internship (Volunteer)

Samaritan Village, a premier senior living community, is offering a volunteer internship in the IT Department. This position will primarily provide user support, identifying and trouble-shooting problems and installing hardware and software. Will be exposed to networks and Windows domains in a business environment while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

This is position requires technical knowledge to install PC hardware and software and troubleshoot network connectivity. Key responsibilities will focus on user support for desktop end-users for all PC and software applications, which includes all Microsoft applications. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible, part-time schedule of up to 20 hours per week.

Program Overview

As a part of the Disney College Program at Disneyland® Resort, participants will have the opportunity to develop their strengths and interests, meet Guests and Cast Members from around the country and take part in educational opportunities they just can't get anywhere else. This truly unique program allows participants to network with Disneyland Resort leaders, take part in personal- and career-development classes, and build transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, Guest service and effective communication. All participants will work in front-line roles at the Disneyland Resort, including Stores, Attractions, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Lodging and many more.

Stanislaus County Internship and Volunteer

Welcome to the Stanislaus County Internship and Volunteer Program informational website. If you desire to be part of making our community a better place to live and work, an internship or volunteer position might be right for you.

Stanislaus County is a local government agency and one of the area's largest employers. We offer career opportunities in a variety of public sector opportunities including careers in law enforcement, public administration, health services, social services, accounting, information technology and human resources. If you are a college student contemplating a career choice, the County offers both paid and un-paid student internships to assist you in making a public sector career choice. 

Additionally, the County has a robust volunteer program open to high school students and interested citizens. Volunteers assist a variety of departments in delivering critical services throughout the community. Volunteer opportunities exist in assisting patients at the County's Health Services Agency, working with animals at the Department of Animal Services, delivering Library books to homebound individuals, and more. The County's Volunteer Program is administered through the Volunteer Center of the United Way.

The City of Modesto's Internship Program is designed to give students an inside look at the City of Modesto's employment opportunities and enhance educational goals. City internships vary within each City department. Students must be enrolled in high school or an accredited college or university working towards a degree. 

The City of Modesto offers paid and volunteer internships. Each position is unique to the department and pay is predetermined. Paid internships are limited to a maximum of 1,000 hours in a fiscal and/or calendar year.
