Job summary
Class specifications are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed by employees in the class. Specifications are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job.

This position under the supervision of all the Recreation Coordinator will work with local teens to develop and implementing a range of local youth run and designed TV broadcasts including but not limited to movies, documentaries, interviews, etc. Participate in youth action commission meetings and have the ability to be flexible and change plans based on the needs of the community. The Youth TV intern will be committed to professional development and perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of: audio and video equipment, computers and editing equipment, and knowledge of production techniques.

Ability to: Understand and carry out oral and written directions. The ability to communicate courteously and effectively with the general public. The ability to effectively work and lead teens. The ability to speak Spanish is desirable.

Experience and Certification(s)
Any combination of experience and training what would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Necessary Special Requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug screen, fingerprint, background check, and reference check.
