Duties:
• Utilize space management software to support planogram function across all product categories
• Maintain a database for store planograms and blueprints in support of category product plans and merchandising objectives
• Partner with managers to evaluate effectiveness of planograms and recommend improvements to support business objectives
• Work closely with the Customer's new store planning group to ensure deadlines and other requirements are met
• Research and implement updates as required
• Establish reports and other data for various departments to support decision-making
• Maintain planogram files to support sales, marketing, and merchandising functions
• Support line reviews with planogram analysis
• Develop and implement planograms for new products
• Conduct periodic store visits to support knowledge and understanding of planogram function
• Interpret and apply department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensure compliance with these areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree desired
• 2-4 years of experience with planogramming/space management tools required
• 5 years of relevant work experience in retail or related industry required
• Proficiency using planogramming software
• Able to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet all deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to gather, compile, and analyze data; draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Able to interpret and apply department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Strong PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong working knowledge of MarketMax or other planogram software experience required
