Academic Status Information

Academic Status Information

* For students who are on probation and or dismissed status, a Status Information Notification (pdf) will be e-mailed via the college e-mail system shortly after the beginning of each term. The notification will inform students of their academic status as of the end of the previous term. The notification will also contain helpful information to assist students in moving off of probation/dismssed status.

NOTE:
During a normal budget year students who are on dismissal status would be blocked from registration and required to see a counselor to apply for readmission to the college. Due to budget constraints resulting in limited counseling resources this summer, students on dismissal status will not be blocked from registration for the fall 2009 semester. It is important that you take corrective action to improve your academic/progress status because normal academic/progress status monitoring, and follow up, will resume after the fall 2009 semester.

Summer 2009 Probation Workshops

A Status Information notice will be e-mailed, via the college e-mail system, to students mid June informing them of their academic status as of the end of the Spring 2009 term.

* Students on second semester probation are required to attend a workshop

NOTE:
During a normal budget year students who are on second semester probation status would be required to attend a Probation Workshop. Due to budget constraints resulting in limited counseling resources this summer, probation workshops are not being provided. It is important that you take corrective action to improve your academic/progress status because normal academic/progress status monitoring, and follow up, will resume after the fall 2009 semester.
