Students may file a Petition with Modesto Junior College through the Office of Student Success requesting consideration for academic issues. This process is handled by the Petitions Committee.

The Petitions Committee reviews and acts upon Petitions from students as per Ed Code, Title V, College Catalog, and Board Policy.

Issues relating to missed deadlines and graduation requirements are not petitionable.

The following petitions are filed and processed through the Office of Student Success:

• Grade Correction (There is a two-year time limit in   which students' records may be challenged.)

• Petition issues related to specific academic courses
