Machine Tool Technology

The Machine Tool Technology Program provides training toward the acquisition of proficiency in the use of metal removal and metal forming machine tools.

Training in calculations of cutting speeds and feeds, use of measuring tools, study of elementary metallurgy, and making adjustments are also emphasized.

Special focus is given to care of equipment, orderliness, accuracy, speed, judgment, confidence and safe working habits.
