The Corporate Training Unit at the Workforce Training Center has the capacity and experience to provide a variety of customized employee training programs that meet your targeted employee performance goals and work within your training budget!

The Corporate Training Unit mobilizes the community college to bring credit classes, certificate programs (based on division approval) and modularized training straight to your company.

We offer our outstanding training coordination services to ensure that every consideration is made to provide you with a superior training program.  Our unit has decades of experience in our community working with a variety of small to large companies. The Corporate Training Unit’s capacity and training services range from a ½ day Workshop Style Training for 30 employees to a full Corporate College program that assist employees in reaching longer term academic programs leading to various community college recognized Certificate and AA/AS Degrees.  

The Corporate Training Unit prides itself in adding customized elements to your training program that adds unmatched value to your employee performance improvement efforts that cannot be met with other “canned” trainings.  Canned or Off-the-shelf trainings hope they meet your employee training needs; the Workforce Training Center’s Corporate Training Unit makes every effort to inject customized elements into your training design plan.

• Customized Front End Analysis (FEA) where our goal is to learn about your company culture and overall operational goals as well as any other data that can strengthen the ultimate training design.
• Partnership with various subject matter experts from multiple divisions throughout Modesto Junior College to employ the most knowledgeable training team for your needs.
• Exploration of training service options within our other college units. Potential development of grants that may be available to support your training efforts.  Research with other community college’s training units to ensure that your training program is given every design consideration.
• Experienced logistics experts who allow us to offer a range of service elements that can be offered in such a way that your company can take on as much or as little of the design and implementation tasks as your staff time and training budget is organized to manage.  
• Recommendations to include how to make the most of your training dollars by offering employee incentive ideas, employer recognized certificates of completion, and access to student services at Modesto Junior College that enhance an employee’s performance on the job.
