Each year, the Modesto Junior College Foundation sponosrs several events to raise funds and promote awareness of their activities.  We are always adding new events, please check back often for more details.

MJC 90th Anniversary Ceremony

September 19, 2011(Monday), 3 p.m.
East Campus Quad, free!

September 19 marks the first day of classes held by Modesto Junior College in 1921, which were offered on the Modesto High School campus that first year. MJC will commemorate this landmark birthday with a dedication of a large bronze MJC seal mounted in stone at the center of the Quad. The ceremony will be followed by a program in the Auditorium showcasing a video produced by Wes Page of MJC’s nine-decade legacy and the Alumni Hall of Fame Awards. A Reception will follow in the Auditorium Lobby.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Stadium "Victory" Campaign

Thirty-three world records have been set at the MJC stadium since its humble installation in the early 1920's. Thanks to the tremendous support of loyal alumni, students, faculty and community members, the MJC stadium has become nationally known today.

The MJC Stadium Victory Campaign aims to expand and modernize the existing track and football stadium. You can be a part of history and help meet our students' needs with a gift to this project.
