What is the Hispanic Education Conference (HEC)

The main goal of the Hispanic Education Conference is to encourage our local high school youth to choose a career path, focus on a goal and hopefully, to provide them with a multitude of choices available to them upon completing high school.

Students will have the opportunity to experience various diverse occupational areas in which local community role-models facilitate workshops on:

Attendeeds at HEC
  • Education/Teaching
  • Law Enforcement
  • Health/Nursing
  • Business
  • Computer Science/Graphics
  • Social Work
  • Engineering
  • Other Career Related Topics

Parents are welcomed to attend since we will also offer a special workshop in Spanish just for them.

We would like students to leave the conference feeling inspired, motivated and eager to pursue their educational and/or career goals.
