Swim Lessons
Lessons for ages 3-12. There are 5 2-week sessions beginning June 7. We have 5 levels of swim abilities. Children are placed in the levels according to their ability, not their age. Click here for the schedule of dates and times.
MJC Junior Golf - Ages 7-13
A course for students to learn the fundamentals of golf. This includes rules of golf, etiquette, and play (putting, chipping, pitching and full swing) leading to on-course instruction. If you have clubs, bring them, otherwise clubs will be provided at no cost. $11 materials fee (for cost of range balls for 5-week session) will be paid to instructor the first class. Golf Camp for Kids - Ages 7-13
This class format is spread out over a week and is a great way to work on putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. With on-course instruction kids will keep stats and earn prizes in a friendly competitive environment while learning to improve their game. Class meets from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. on first day only. $15 material fee paid to instructor. If you have clubs, bring them, otherwise clubs will be provided at no cost.

Yoga for Kids - Ages 6-12
Make fitness fun! Burn off excess energy, increase self-confidence and focus. Children benefit greatly from yoga’s strengthening and balancing poses. Wear loose
clothing and bring a bottle of water.

Judo for Kids - Ages 6-10 & 11-17
Students will learn official Kodokan Judo techniques that were established at the Kodokan Judo institute in Japan in 1882 by Professor Gigoro Kano. Beginning students will learn the history of judo, etiquettes, purpose and physical and mental benefits: self-confidence by learning basic judo throws, hold-downs and the escapes. Students will also learn the basic differences between judo, jujutsu, karate and other striking martial arts. Download or print an order form to order the optional Judo Gi.

Funky Fitness Inc. - Ages 8-14
Kids get ready to feel the beat as Miss Taelor starts you off with some fresh hip hop combos and funky jazz routines for any level. Then get your hands clapping and body moving to an Afro-Cuban inspired warrior dance. The coolest thing is that you get a workout, build self-confidence and improve your posture. For those who want to participate there will be an open dance off at the end of class.

Baton Twirling - Age 8-12
Come have fun learning beginning to intermediate baton twirling skills, basic juggling, marching and how to stay in step with marching music. Each student will have a progression chart and receive a star for each skill learned. The class will have the opportunity to perform for their relatives and friends on the last day of the session. Juggling balls will be provided. You will need to purchase a baton for this class . Before buying a baton you will need to measure from on top of your shoulder to the end of the middle finger or for growing room one inch past the middle finger.

Cheer-N-Dance - Ages 6-12
It’s time to stand up and shout! This high energy class will feature cheers, chants, jumps, dances and a lot of fun! You will even make your own pom poms. Parents will be invited to a small pep rally on the last day of class.
Wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring water and a snack. $4 material fee paid to instructor.

Rhythmic Gymnastics - Ages 8-14
You will have fun learning how to use the rhythmic ribbon, ball, clubs, hoop and rope. On the first session you will make your own pair of rhythmic clubs. The class will consist of flexibility, basic dance skills and learning to use the rhythmic equipment and how to incorporate dance skills with rhythmic skills. The last session will be a performance by the students for their family and friends. Tumbling Fun for Kids - Ages 8-12
You will have lots of tumbling fun learning beginning to intermediate tumbling skills as you work on flexibility and strength. You will learn a tumbling routine to perform for your family and friends for the last session.

Hip Hop - MJC’s Best Dance Crew - Ages 7-11
Learn the hottest dance moves of today from an experienced performer, choreographer and dance instructor. You’ll try all the latest techniques and styles while keeping the beat to the most popular music. At the end of the week you will perform an “America’s Best Dance Crew” style performance! No

Introduction to Springboard Diving
This course for ages 7-17 will focus on the basics of springboard diving. Students will start from the side of the pool, work on their dive approach and then move to the 1s meter board.

Intermediate Springboard Diving
Designed primarily for high school divers who have the basics. This course will focus on a six dive format used for dual meet competition. The 1 meter board is used and students will have an opportunity to move to the 3 meter board.
