Renewing Notaries Class
3 Hour State Required Seminar
As of January 2009, Renewing Notaries may take a three hour Approved Notary Refresher course. We will review all laws and regulations you are required to know to continue as a Notary. You must take the exam and be fingerprinted again. Class time includes the test.

NOTE to Renewing Notary students: To be eligible for our 3-hour Renewing Notary class, you must have taken a State-approved 6-hour Notary seminar when you obtained your commission 4 years ago. You would have received a "Proof of Completion" and submitted it to your exam proctors upon taking the Notary exam. If you don't recall whether or not your received a "Proof," please contact the Secretary of State's office to confirm: (916) 653-3595. If you took your Notary seminar after July 1, 2005, and received a proof of completion, you are eligible for our 3 hour class. If you did not receive a "Proof" upon completion of your Notary seminar, please come register for our seminar on Sept. 12 at 8:00 am.
Become a Certified Loan Signing Agent
Prerequisite: Prospective student must have taken a Notary class. Now that you are a Notary, how do you build and maintain your signing business? We will teach you the skills and provide the tools necessary to: Become a "Certified Loan Signing Agent" and what it means. You will go through a loan package and see exactly what you need to do. Learn to negotiate your fee, get called back, and how to brand yourself as a professional in your market.
Materials fee of $40 payable to instructor at class for Seminar Guide and Reference Book, plus $20 certification fee.
