Installing Ceramic Tile Bathroom Floor and Entry Way
This is a perfect project for the do-it-yourself homeowner. Learn how to tear out existing flooring, surface preparation, materials selection, tool requirements, and hands-on installation techniques. $25 for practice materials paid to instructor at first class.

Beginning Upholstery and Beyond
In this beginning upholstery class you will discover how to create a niche in a craft that could lead to side jobs and extra cash. Learn fabric layout for cutting. how to use power sewing equipment and hand tools for basic furniture and automobile upholstery. In addition to learning a new skill students receive first hand knowledge on starting and operating an upholstery business. Areas covered will be supply distributors, equipment, bidding and selling jobs, re-sale license, yardage charts, and much more. My Mosaic Garden
Mosaic tile is a fantastic element to add to your outside landscaping. Students will have their choice of creating a tile clay pot, hummingbird or butterfly sculpture, and stepping stones. Whether you have a single hummingbird or a whole flock, the garden sculpture you design and decorate is sure to bring a smile to everyone who visits your yard or garden. For clay pot projects please bring to class: one 12 to 16” straight clay pot and tile biters. For students doing a hummingbird, butterfly, fish or frogs please bring 1/2 to 3/4 inch plywood cut out of your shape not to exceed 16” x12” and tile biters. $25 material fee payable to the instructor at the first class (includes tile and grout). Bring an idea for a design or bring a child’s “first coloring book” for simple, sample designs. Bring safety glasses. See samples.
