Cutting and layout, furniture construction as well as hand tools and power sewing equipment and various materials for furniture and automobiles will be covered. Demonstration and hands-on experience in upholstery techniques. $20 material fee paid to instructor at first class. Learn how to make simple repairs to household plumbing fixtures with familiar tools. Instructor will troubleshoot and demonstrate how to repair common problem areas: water closet, lavatory, shower head, and even the kitchen sink. Students will disassemble and reassemble props.
