KID'S DIVING PROGRAM
Modesto Springboard Diving Club - Ages 7-17
Necessary Skills Test: Students must pass swimming and skills test on first day of class.
Requirements - Current AAU Membership Card. Students under 18 enrolling in Modesto Springboard Diving Club must turn in parent permission forms.
Each class will be held during the following 2 sessions.
Session I -June 17-July 10 (No class July 3 & 4)
Session II - July 15-Aug. 7

Introduction to Diving - Ages 7-11 & Ages 12-17
Will focus on fundamental skills, basic pool safety when diving. Students will learn to dive from side of pool and move to the 1 meter board as skills improve.

Intermediate Diving - Ages 10-17
Will focus on building upon the fundamental skills learned in the introduction class. Will perform dives in 5 categories - front, back, inward, reverse and twist dives. The 1 meter board is used and students will move to the 3 meter board as skills improve.
