You will be able to understand the terminology and the process of bookkeeping that is required in order for small businesses to keep accurate records. If you have an accountant who keeps track of your business finances, you should still have a basic knowledge of what is required and why. This class is a step-by-step approach to record keeping, payroll, and tax return preparation for the small and medium-sized business. Learn about journals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll taxes, filing and the general budget as well as new labor laws regarding employees.
