Beginning Stained Glass - #1741
You will create two projects using two different techniques - one the "lead" technique, and one known as "copper foiling" developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. You will putty your window in class. Basic Tool Kit can be purchased online for $95 at www.isgs.com/default.htm. $98 if purchased in class. The glass for the first project is included in kit. The instructor will bring the kits to class. OR if you already have the required tools and need to purchase only the glass and materials for the first project , you will pay $35 in class (cannot be purchased online). Ask for a supply list to purchase tools separately. First project is a 9"x12" window sunset. Second project - student will choose their own design, pick the size and purchase the glass and materials (if larger than 24"x24" see instructor for assistance). Wear old clothes. No sandals. Bring pencils, scissors, glass cleaner.

Faux Finishing - #0564
This is a 4-hour class packed with valuable information for the amateur or future professional who wants to learn the art of faux painting. You will learn several special painting techniques that will enable you to paint walls, floors and furniture with professional results. Theses include marble in two colors, ragging with two or more colors of paint at once, glazing on textured and smooth walls, and a crackle finish in two different colors. All supplies are provided and you will take home all of your sample boards of the various techniques. It is a completely hands-on learning experience. Complete written instructions are included. Beautiful Moveable Wall Art - #1665
This 4 hour class is designed to teach you to create, cut and learn to apply art that can be moved from wall to wall or remain stationary. This could be a solution to decorating an apartment that has restrictions against painting on the walls. This artwork will be done on Cambric cloth, which is similar to roller shade material. You will complete a design, cut it out and apply a special waxing to the back to allow it to adhere to the wall. You could also use wallpaper adhesive for permanent installation.
