A Calworks counselor will evaluate each student’s individual case and recommend the best course of study. Once a course of study is selected, the counselor will also assist the student in developing an educational plan. The educational plan will outline the specific courses needed to achieve the student’s educational goal. If the educational plan is not followed, the student may not be eligible to receive MJC CalWORKS services.
