Academic Programs

The College offers courses designed to meet many diverse interests, educational needs, and vocational needs of its students. College programs are designed to meet particular needs and may consist of one course or a series of courses leading to a certificate, an associate degree, or providing the first two years toward a bachelor's degree.

Community Education

Modesto Junior College Community Education offers fully fee-funded, not-for-credit vocational classes and programs, and educational, recreational and cultural programs for all ages which lie beyond formalized classroom instruction to meet the needs and interests of the community through our regular Community Education classes, College for Kids and Teens, Older Adult Program, Modesto Institute for Continued Learning (MICL) and Educational Travel Program.
